The song “Home on the Range” has become synonymous with the American West, calling to mind wide open prairies, big skies, and rugged beauty. Ella Butler later took this popular tune and paired it with original words that celebrate the beauty of Christ.

This arrangement has been crafted to work equally well with both sets of words, portraying both wide open spaces

and intimate reflection in the same piece.
