Slik-Slides Tuning Slide Gel is a specialized gel product for brasswind tuning slides, and for other fixed slides. Slik-Slides offers long term stability on your slides, and will not melt away or allow corrosion to to take place on your slides. Slik-Slides is completely anti-oxidative, purely synthetic, and non-hydroscopic, meaning it does not mix with water. The barrier provided by Slik-Slides will protect your slides and keep them from sticking, even if you leave your horn in a hot car or other hot environment for days at a time.

Slik-Slides is not a petroleum product, so it is colorless and odorless. Slik-Slides is the perfect consistency to hold your slides in place, and it imparts a buttery smoothness to slide pulling and pushing.

Slik-Slides is only for fixed slides and tuning slides, do not use on your slides that are used for tuning notes as you play, because the viscosity is perfect for tuning slides, not so much for moving (throw) slides.
