This horn solo features the classic gospel song, “A New Name In Glory,” written in 1910 by C. Austin Miles.  The music depicts the joy, freedom, and fulfillment when one receives God’s grace, the forgiveness of our sins, and the assurance of eternal life in Him.  The final verse expresses well this truth:

In the Book ‘tis written, “Saved by grace,”

O the joy that came to my soul!

Now I am forgiven, and I know

By the blood I am made whole.
