Program Notes:

Adelaide A. Pollard (1863-1934) wrote “Have Thine Own Way, Lord” during a particularly trying period almost 100 years ago.  Her words based on Isaiah 64:8 are still relevant for living in today’s fast and sometimes confused world.  George Stebbins later set this text to music and his melody presented here in a two-verse setting.
