“Jesus Paid It All” is a central theme in the Christian Church. This arrangement of this well-known gospel song melody focuses on the thoughts of Jesus paying it all, and all to Him we owe.  As a result, it starts off in a dark minor mode as we ponder Christ’s sacrifice. However, it shifts to a triumphant major setting of the melody, mirroring the words of verse four:

And when before the throne

I stand in Him complete,

I’ll lay my trophies down

All down at Jesus’ feet.
