This arrangement is based on the 1986 song by Graham Kendrick of the same name. Kendrick, who has been described as the “Father of modern worship music,” is best known for his songs “Shine Jesus Shine,” “Knowing You,” and “The Servant King.” This arrangement uses a quasi-Jewish dance style, with the tempo gradually getting faster and faster to build the excitement as it heads to the climax of the last verse, which says: 

Jesus turned our sorrow into dancing; 

Changed our tears of sadness into rivers of joy; 

Jesus turned our sorrow into a dance.
