This arrangement, based on Eliza E. Hewitt’s song, paints a picture of the soul in a resting place. Hewitt, often known by her pseudonym Liddie H. Edmunds, wrote of what makes her faith so secure – her confidence that Jesus died for her.
Barrie Gott is the CEO and musical director of the Queensland Pops Orchestra and is the bandmaster of the Brisbane City Temple Band. He has worked in education and as a professional musician in Australia and the USA.
