This solo, based on the great song “On Christ, the Solid Rock, I Stand,” conveys through music the confidence we have in Christ and the joy we receive in knowing that He is our Solid Rock in a shifting world!  What a testimony we all share in these words:

My hope is built on nothing less

Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness,

I dare not trust the sweetest frame,

But wholly lean on Jesus’ name.

On Christ, the solid rock, I stand,

All other ground is sinking sand.
