Since its publication in 1993 by Hillsong Australia, Darlene Zschech’s “Shout to the Lord” has become a well-loved song of worship.  Stephen Bulla has energized the original slow rock setting and this faster tempo enhances the chorus, which is an inspiring 20th Century Psalm of praise:

Shout to the Lord, all the earth, let us sing

Power and majesty, praise to the King;

Mountains bow down and the seas will roar

At the sound of Your name.

I sing for joy at the work of Your hands;

Forever I’ll love You, forever I’ll stand.
