The unusual title is inspired by Revelation 22:13 “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.” 

The theme is the well-known Sunday school spelling chorus: 

I am C, I am C-H-, 

I am C-H-R-I-S-T-I-A-N. 

And I have C-H-R-I-S-T 

In my H-E-A-R-T 

And I will L-I-V-E- E-T-E-R-N-A-L-L-Y.
