Presented here, in the form of a march, is the great hymn “Guide Me, O Thou Great Jehovah” (Text: William Williams, Music: Cwm Rhondda, John Hughes), believed to be inspired by the scripture found in Isaiah 58:11: “The Lord will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs.”  The march features an original melody by the composer structured in such a way so that when Cwm Rhondda actually appears, the two melodies juxtapose perfectly over one another.

The march exclaims with the hymn writer:

Songs of praises, songs of praises

I will ever give to Thee.
